AUDITORIUM
Fully renovated in 2024 with new seats and carpeting, the MCC’s Auditorium features 282 fixed chairs, each equipped with a mini desk for convenience. The built-in stage and AV system ensure seamless presentations, making it a popular choice for award ceremonies, keynote addresses, and general sessions. With excellent visibility, every attendee can fully engage in discussions and presentations.
CHESAPEAKE DINING ROOM
Every day, we welcome mariners in training and employees to enjoy a buffet of delicious entrees, side dishes, and desserts. The buffet is also included in Daily Packages offered to hotel and conference center guests. This grand space is used, in part, for private events, and may be enjoyed as one large open room that accommodates 360 guests, or separated by retractable air walls into six spacious salons. Ideal for breakfast and dinner meetings.
MEMORABILIA ROOM
Explore the rich history of the Merchant Marine and the labor movement in our newly renovated Memorabilia Room. This inviting space is filled with natural light. Perfect for cocktail receptions.
CENTRAL BREAK AREA
Start your day with an assortment of bagels, pastries, and fruit, with freshly brewed coffee, tea, and a variety of juices. In the afternoon, treat yourself to sweet and savory snacks, including freshly-baked cookies, while enjoying our Coca-Cola Freestyle fountain. These offerings are part of our Daily Meeting Package, designed to keep your team refreshed and engaged throughout the day.
THE DECK CLUB
Enjoy a selection of beer, wine, spirits, and specialty cocktails served by our friendly bartenders. The Deck Club offers a welcoming reception space for up to 30 guests. Ask about catering options to make your gathering something special. Open daily from 4 p.m. to midnight (hours may vary based on occupancy).
